Hey Friends! Did you know that Dr. Douglas does acupuncture for pets? Dr. Douglas has been doing acupuncture and working with herbal supplements for over ten years! To put it simply acupuncture is the treatment of conditions or symptoms with inserting tiny needles into the body to produce a response. The response created ranges from pain relief to stimulating healing inside the body. Each Acupuncture appointment starts with a short meeting about how your pet is doing and what your areas of concern are. Dr. Douglas then inserts the very fine needles into the points best suited to help your pet. Then your pet gets to rest for 25-40 minutes to let the needles work their magic. Many pets start showing signs of feeling better after their first appointment. Acupuncture is one of the many ways owners can help their pets feel better.
