Hey Friends! I Hope everyone is doing well. This week I wanted to give you guys some tips and tricks when it comes to giving medication to us furry friends. The best tip I have is to make medication time for your pets a fun time. Medication can be strange and icky tasting, I personally like my medications to be hidden in pill pockets. You can use other yummy foods to hide medication in, at the clinic they also recommend using your pets wet food. For ear medications, I liked to be wrapped up in a blanket or a towel during the application. It makes me feel warm and safe. Remember friends to always use positive reinforcement and give us lots of praise. If medication time is a fun time, everybody has a good time. Until next time!
